I hear this is even an acceptable breakfast on the day after Halloween:@) Sounds good!

This is a lifesaver! I’m always wondering what to do with leftover Halloween candy – thanks for the idea starters!

You food always look so good, dear! All set for Halloween tmr? xoxo

The texture on these blondies is perfection! 40 full sized candy bars is a ton to have hanging around the house. We always send leftovers like that to work with my Dad.

Happy Birthday Liz! These delicious little blondies have all the makings for a fun Halloween leftover candy retreat. Chewy and delicious and sure to score high with the boys! Just pinned!

I am such a blondies fan!! Love this idea for leftover Halloween candy!

Yum! These sound delicious!

Oh my goodness, Liz. Even your plebeian treats look gourmet…And yummy =) Think I’ll take a trip to Indiana the day after Halloween! Tee hee.

Oh these Candy Bar Blondies will be popular in the next couple of days lol! I have not trick or treaters in my high-rise so may have to buy candies just to make the bars

Hi Liz, how creative, these do look delicious. Not sure if we will have any candy left, But if we do now I know what to make. Thanks!

These blondies loook lovelies and delicious dear Lizzy!!

Hugs!!

That’s great! Using leftover candies to make a dessert. I really like that!

Lucky kids! We’ve been getting fewer and fewer kids, this year I just bought a pack of 50 candies and I’ll likely hand out handfuls as the evening progresses. It’s rather sad because the young people cannot afford homes in Toronto (our house has nearly quadrupled in value in 15 years!) which means the neighbours kids are all university age and don’t trick or treat!

blondies always make me remember the ones from my university… SO good and cantt recreate their recipe! These look decadent!

I love the dense texture of these blondies…they look divine!

Such a great idea to use up leftover Halloween candy. I’ll be lucky if the kids get any – I’m sitting here running to the bowl every second I get and grabbing a bar or two. Love the idea of using them up in new recipes.

Looking nice! Love them ♥

The perfect way to use up extra Halloween candy!! Love everything about these things.. and I know my fam will too!

I am so happy to know that all that stirring and beating and washing dishes counts for something. In that case, I’ll have two!

Liz, we have so much candy–it is out of control!!! I will donate a lot and use it for baking—like these bars. YUM!

This is a great recipe, Liz! We all have notorious sweet teeth at my place and we would need supervision around these Candy Bar Blndies! Yum!

Advantage to having no trick or treaters come to the door: I can make these.

I love blondies and mixing in leftover candy sounds just fabulous to me!

Yum yum! These candy bar blondies look so pretty and stunning, Liz. I am such a blondies fan, so I can tell would love these too. Also love this idea of using leftover Halloween candy!

When you have way too much candy in your house, making Candy Bar Blondies is a delicious way to repurpose those treats.

Candy Bar Blondies

Around the holidays, there is an influx of sweet treats to our house. On Halloween, depending on the weather, we could have 60-100 trick or treaters. I like to buy full-size candy bars, but having 40 leftover makes for a big dilemma. Thank goodness I have an easy solution. Make a batch of blondies and load them up with your favorites! Voila, Candy Bar Blondies! I’ve taken my favorite blondie recipe and stirred in some frozen chocolate candy bar chunks along with M&M’s. My girlfriends were dying for the recipe when I shared these. They would not lead you astray.

Halloween Candy Leftovers

Since Halloween is tomorrow, the Sunday Supper Tastemakers have come to the rescue with your most pressing Halloween question. What to do with the leftover Halloween candy! Sampling a few of your favorites is always required, but there’s only so much your pants will stretch! Not like these treats are particularly kind to your waistline, but consider the mixing, spreading, and cutting to be a form of exercise. I can rationalize just about anything. Check out all the creative recipes for leftover candy (which can be applied to Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Easter, too!).
