These Disney Themed Christmas Cookies look fantastic and they’re sure to be popular with all your friends and family. They’re perfect for any Christmas celebration and will make a lovely gift as well. The recipe uses Royal Icing for the base and Buttercream Frosting for the accents. The best way to achieve this lovely base of the Cookie is to use the popular ‘cookie flooding’ technique.

This is very simple and gives that wonderful smooth effect. You can then pipe your decorations over the top. It’s a very simple process and you will love the results.

How To Flood Cookies with Royal Icing -:

To begin, you’ll need a pastry bag and two tips: a #1 tip for the outline of the icing, and a #2 tip for the flooding. Use a coupler to switch back and forth between the two.

Using the #1 tip, draw an outline around the area that you want to flood.

Switch to the #2 tip and flood the cookie by filling in the entire area inside the outline.

Use a toothpick to fill in any blank spots. Gently tap the cookie to release any air bubbles, then use a toothpick to pop them. Allow the cookie to dry completely.
