Garlic Sesame Noodles

Garlic Sesame Noodles

Garlic Sesame Noodles

My wife and I just had this epiphany that we can’t eat out every night. Back to cooking. I do most of the grocery shopping and she does the cooking and we both clean up. Boy, are we happier this way. And this only takes 15 minutes to make – sending her the link!

Tom – congrats. Cooking is the way to go. :)

Love this recipe. Thank you Bee.

Thanks Liz. Have you tried this garlic sesame noodles recipe yet?

I’ve made Ree Drummond’s sesame noodle recipe for years now but never thought about adding oyster sauce. I think I’ll try it as I do have the oyster sauce in my pantry. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi Bonnie, oyster sauce makes everything better! :)

I could not get the recipe for ginger sesame noodles….just kept showing photos NEVER amounts for the posted ingredients….this has happened several times

There’s a red block at the top of the page that says “click here for recipe”.

Does it still taste good if I make it the night before and refrigerate it? thanks

Just heat up in the microwave. :)

I thought this was going to be a problem from the start. Wasn`t wrong. Neither my husband nor I could eat it. Terrible. Did not look anything like the picture, which I kind of suspected would happen.

Hi Kathryn – what happened? What do you mean by terrible? Did you use the right seasonings?

Rasa, seems you may be right.I cooked this using egg noodles and it was MMMMMMMM!!

Awesome, glad that you enjoyed the garlic sesame noodles.

Made this yesterday for Super Bowl. It was so freakin’ easy to make and in no time at all! The only thing you cook are the noodles. If you can’t cook that, well, I guess you are s.o.l. Everything else you measure or chop and mix and put on the noodles and it looked just like your pictures sans the bowl. Got compliments and people helping themselves to seconds. Love easy to follow recipes like this. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Kimberly that’s great, so glad that you had great success with the garlic sesame noodles!

Hi thank you for this no fuss recipe. I will serve this with fried shumai.

This looks great! I am going to make this tonight with some grilled chicken! Looking forward to it.

I made this tonight, it was a hit, I thought it was a little dry ( but I only added 1 tsp of sesame oil because the kids think it has a strong flavor) so I added one tblsp of canola oil and it was perfect. Gobbled up!

Hi Christyn, thanks for trying this garlic sesame noodles. So glad that you kids love it… :)

I just whipped this up following your recipe, except I cooked a whole pound of pasta. I just doubled the ingredients in the sauce and it came out great. It’s very easy and super tasty. Thanks!

Thanks Christina for trying my garlic sesame noodles recipe!

I’m going to try this tonight with teriyaki salmon and salad!

Would this be good if I added some type of meat to it – maybe flank steak?

Do you think using zoodles with this recipe would work? I have made this many times and love it but would like to eat less pasta :)

You can try. I am not sure since I have never tried it. ;)

I’m trying i

t tonight—I will report back :)

Hi, is the garlic raw then? Just mix in the sauce?

Yes.

Thanks!

Garlic Sesame Noodles – Asian-flavored spaghetti with soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic and sesame. Easy and delicious recipe that takes 15 mins to make.

On a weekly basis, we eat noodles (mostly spaghetti) about two or three times a week. You see, Little G’s favorite food is spaghetti, and if you ask him what he wants for dinner, his answer would probably be Parmesan garlic noodles. So I have been switching up and make different variations so we won’t be bored of eating the same thing! But honestly, I desperately need a new recipe to add to the mix, badly.

So here is the garlic sesame noodles, inspired by Pioneer Woman. My sesame noodles recipe on Rasa Malaysia is made with a rich and creamy sesame sauce, however this garlic sesame noodle is flavored with soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, and sesame oil. It’s the Asian flavored spaghetti noodle dish that is both appetizing and delicious.

This recipe is so easy, fuss-free, and you don’t even need to fire up a skillet to cook. All you have to do is cook the noodles, make the sauce, and then toss them together. Easy peasy and no major cleaning and wiping of the stove top and kitchen counter.

The taste is savory and aromatic, from the garlic, sesame oil and sesame seeds. It’s great on its own or with chicken, shrimp, with a healthy serving of garlic bok choy. I served this with the garlic herb sauteed mushrooms, a simple dinner that is both filling and nutritious.
