I professionally designed, pieced and free motion quilted the entire quilt from my home sewing machine using a large loopy pattern throughout. Quilting adds texture and depth, making it stand out from a regular blanket. I also made this quilt \"binding-less\", using a zig zag stitch on the sides to give a modern look. It features 3 total layers, yet still has a nice light to medium weight. The backing features a modern navy print that coordinates perfect with the top.

This quilt measures approx., 36x44 or 36x51 (pick from drop down menu) inches. The smaller size quilt coversabout 3/4 of the crib mattress, leaving a small section for the sheet to show.

I have not washed this quilt. You may wash on the delicate cycle - cold water. Air dry or machine dry, lowest heat setting for 15 min. If you choose to machine dry, you will have some shrinking. Washing the quilt will give it the desired puckered look unique only to quilts. This quilt would make an excellent gift, sure to be a favorite and an heirloom to last for years.
