White Ceramic Compost Bucket

I just received this item and am somewhat disappointed. Although the product description says that the compost bucket has a one gallon capacity, the label on the item and the item itself is only 3/4 gallon. That's a mere 3 quarts and not as big as I would have liked.

Otherwise, it's a lovely little thing; it's just not what I expected.

I admit it - I'm one of those people who will buy something because it is attractive. This looks really good in my kitchen, which is old-fashioned. I had a metal compost bucket for the counter and it was just fine, but this one is really attractive, plus, it includes a filter! I like its heavy weight, and the handle makes it convenient to take outside to the compost pile.
